My name is Erin, I am 23 years old, and I am from Invergrove Heights, MN. When I was eleven years-old I was involved in a car accident. So, the new surgery was a good option for me because it did not require Dr. Transfeldt to take bone out of my hip. He waited until I was older to perform surgery in the event my back healed as my body matured.
I had the surgery and I was in the hospital for around five days. It took me about two months to recover. I started noticing a difference in pain soon after surgery. It takes two years to completely heal. Now, everything feels fine. Overall, it was a positive experience.
