INFUSE® Bone Graft has not caused any symptomatic side effects that we are aware of.

Dr. J. Kenneth Burkus

In the largest prospective interbody study of over 279 patients there were no side effects demonstrated from the use of INFUSE® Bone Graft. I have also reviewed the other studies in humans that have been conducted using INFUSE® Bone graft and there have been no unexpected findings associated with the use of BMP2.

We have used INFUSE® Bone Graft since the FDA study in 1998 in more than 300 patients and have not seen any side effects.

Dr. Kenneth A. Pettine
Loveland, CO

There are no specific side effects to the INFUSE® Bone Graft.

Dr. Kambiz Hannani
Los Angeles, CA

No significant side effect has been reported to date. However, our experience with the protein is limited to the last few years. INFUSE® Bone Graft should not be used in pregnant patients or those with a history of tumors.

Dr. Theodore A. Belanger
Charlotte, NC

Thus far, there have not been any serious negative side effects related to the use of INFUSE® Bone Graft.

Dr. Scott Boden

Unlikely. A small percentage of people develop an antibody to the protein, but this has not resulted in any effect or failure to form bone. To date, there have been no major side effects.

Dr. Jorge E. Isaza
Baton Rouge, LA

There have been no side effects related to the use of INFUSE® Bone Graft. The material is absorbed by the patient's body and excreted by their kidneys without side effects.
